KW #1 = QS1 and KW #2 = QS7 -- Y?

I've got a campaign going on Adwords right now and I'm a bit confused, any idea what this is about?

One of the keywords I'm bidding on says it "Rarely shows for yada yada yada" reason and it says the quality score of the LP is 1.

My other keyword, which is the same root keyword + another word gives a QS of 7.

It's highly likely this is a stupid ass question but: is the low QS for my first term due to a not tightly optimized LP? Should I set up a completely new page or is the domain as a whole slapped--even though my other keywords show a higher QS?

Update: Ok fuck that. Now all KWs are QS1, guess it's an LP slap. Do they approve anything at all these days?

ah, this happened to me the other day and it turns out they just outright banned me. Might want to check and see if that's your case, too. You could always run the campaign on adcenter and pay 4 times the price for a quarter of the traffic, yeah!
