I recently launched a new website and new to the affiliation program. Research on the subject has been vague and convoluted so i ask the fellow forum readers to clarify this program.

1) What is the typical payout for someone that signs up for the affiliation program? Is there a scale based on the type of website or is it set?

2) What is the general number to have for members of the affiliation program?

3) What kind of traffic increase should one expect?

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

calm down, and try to explain what do you want. Like, do you want to promote products through affiliate programs or you are looking for people to promote you through affiliate program. And so on..

Specifically looking to see how the program itself works. I am interested in having people sign up for the affiliation program through the website to promote the website and to increase traffic to the website.

on average 30-40% commissions.. you will need to provide affiliate tools and banners / emails and ppc ads though to make it easier for any affiiate to promote your products.
