After loads of false starts and reading... over and over again... I've finally drawn up a plan I'm comfortable with.
Initially deciding to build lots and lots of micro sites around offers, now I'm going for a large niche portal kinda site.
I'm going around one general niche I know a lot about, then I'm building a network of sites that will relate to each other. SEO em and that.
Rather than dotting around anywhere on the niche map, I'm going to take over a big niche.
Lots of updated content. PPC landing pages. Videos. Newsletter. Product reviews. Banners. Catalogue feeds. Adsense.
Sooner or later once this big brand is built I'm thinking about my own membership, or product.
Rather than going half hearted on lots of micro sites, I'd rather go full on and build a real brand, a site with real value, I can feel passionate about.

It's weird cos all the affilaite blogs and forums sort of say the oposite. Micro sites around offers...
I think big site, with lots of related mini sites. Same effect really, but everything you do is pushing a bgger picture, a bigger brand.
Wot do you lot recon.
