Doing Twitter and Yahoo Answers at the moment. Haven't made a youtube video yet.

Yahoo usually spikes my traffic and then dies.

I'm averaging 100 visitors a day from search engines and backlinks alone so thats good. I expect it to rise slowly over the coming months. My niche has very high competition so I'm trying to use a variety of keyword and keyword phrases.

I'm using Clickbank but I'm looking into other affiliate networks.

Today I am overhauling my site. I'm gonna use a different theme, fix the organization, improve the font.

It will look awesome and I will post some screenshots of the before and after. I'm also skipping sleeping tonight.....I normally don't fall asleep till 7:00 AM and I don't wish to be nocturnal anymore so I'm gonna TRY my best to stay up to 7:00 PM and then fall asleep. Gonna use those extra 12 hours and work on my site the entire day. Damn basic training and tech school is gonna suck knowing my site is just gonna be sitting there collecting dust. Thats a whole 6 months of no work on my site unless I make a bunch of monies online and buy a labtop.
 
Day 27

Day 27 Summary:


-WOOOOOOOOOOOO 7 hours straight. No sleep; I'm doing an all-nighter. Complete overhaul of this site. I'll give you the run down:
  • New Theme
  • Custom Header
  • Bigger Font
  • The Store no longer needs annoying scroll bars
  • Added one article
  • Added my first success story
  • Installed Word Press Spam Blocker Plugin
  • Added one post to my blog with the site updates

Hostgator support has been great but wtf was that? I had a 500 internal server error last night.....ended up fixing it by using FTP to fix the functions.php file.

-Fixing some of those LONG articles- gonna try to get a "read more" option going.

Dude your site looks so much better now. Have you thought of signing up for Yahoo Publisher Network to get some contextual ads going? I have fitness blog and I've found that YPN out performs Adsense by 2:1.

Do you have any plans on creating a landing page or some sort?

About the search box- it is suppose to be that high. I'm sure I could lower it by editing the CSS styles but the problem is if I make one mistake I gotta redownload the theme and do it ALL OVER again which I don't wanna do.

When I get around to editing it; I will have to be very careful.

You must be doing something different. I make edits to my themes in the css all the time but I never have to redownload and upload the theme again. Do you use the theme edit feature within WP?
 
Just copy the part you edit into notepad before you make changes. If it is messed up once you edit it, just go back and paste the original code in.

You're missing a kw-rich title tag on your index page.
Look into optimizing your titles and meta descriptions.
 
how do you bookmark a site?

just go to digg.com for example, and write your url in the contents box?
 
Okay so not sure if it is just me.... but that guy on the homepage looks really creepy. He looks like a statue that got the background photo shopped out but it kinda tore some chunks away from him am well. The site is looking a lot better, but if I were you I would find another pic to replace that one.

Theres tons of sites for people to add there favorite sites to so they won't forget. (why don't people just use favorites lol). The majority of these links are dofollow. I found a big list of them here:

I bookmarked my site to the majority of them. DO NOT try to make more then 1 account on the same bookmarking site and place your link. Google will see this as bad and deindex you.

Maybe I'll replace it in the future. The greek statue represents something man used to have because of a hard-working and healthy lifestyle.
