Well anyone knows that real products sell better then digital products. Even I know how to get a crack and a torrent if I wanted to.
Thats why I opened up a amazon store and also got accepted to another affiliate program: ShareASale

-I'm gonna stop posting articles for a while and work on SEO techniques for my site and backlinks for the coming weeks. Its time to fully work on that. Honestly, its my most hated part. I like the design/content part of working on a site. Trying to get traffic is boring. Also gonna work on my new affiliate program and monetize on all of those articles.

I just looked- yeah its down I accidentely deleted it.
I think I'm gonna keep it that way. Amazon products convert bad and you get crappy commissions and I just don't like the store look.
I think I'm gonna use my new affiliate program shareasale.com and put some stuff up there.
If I can't find products that relate to my niche though I'll put amazon back up.

Just revamped my store. Dropped the stupid amazon associates and now have a real affiliate program up. I am selling products from discountanabolics.com threw shareasale.com
The new store is a lot more organized now and tells the viewer what the are buying. Also added some presell to why they would need the product.

you should check out pingler.com you can ping up to 91 sites, once per day or 4 times if you take out the "www" and "http://" I'm not sure if quad pingging does anything more than a single ping but it's worth a try:

I added the subscription on my homepage but looks a little crappy because the "name" and "email" are out of line. If I try editing it, it doesn't work. Another issue is when you sign up; it brings you to the index.php of my site and if I try to edit that it doesn't work.
I tested on my own email and it seems the subscription itself works. The confirm works, and then it sends you email "0". I will wait till tommorow and see if I receive the first email in the newsletter.
My newsletter has up to 3 emails and its promoting a fatloss meal plan from clickbank. We will see if I get any leads in the next couple of days.

I'll wait till I start getting a steady flow of good traffic to figure out how to put one in properly. I think finding a free autoresponder is hard to implement. I couldn't get the PHPlist to work.
-Tommorow is the start of July and I have the minimum amount of money in bidvertiser- lets see if they pay me.

You've got enough traffic already, start monetizing it now. I'm a noob and I could get 10 leads out of that kind of traffic, that would give me about $390 a day.

My sites plenty of monetized; I just can't get the autorepsonder and email list to work. $390 a day? where you get that from?
Organic search and myspace/twitter. Right now it is higher then normal because bidvertiser gave me free advertising credit and its running right now.
i would start now looking at your competition and see what they are doing to earn money. Since that kind of "niche" is not really new i am sure there will be plenty around that monetize since months. So go and get some ideas from them maybe?
After that i would go and optimize your page, see what users are doing on your page link to some money making stuff inside your articles or write revies about related products where you can throw several links to a offer page or w/e.
Since you have just "started" doing that kind of business, its more likely that your optimization progress and setting up new ways for money will take some time so better start now then having your 1k visitors/day and no real income from them. Afterall you are working to make money, if you do not make money you could also go out and work at a supermarket or on the fields

Nah, I'm talking about 10 CPA leads at $39 payout. I suppose really its a different kettle of fish to what you're doing. At least what you're doing looks like it will be around long after my spammy flog gets deindexed
Keep it up, you've got the traffic part down to a fine art IMO, its just the monetizing part, but I suppose traffics your life blood.

-Spent the entire day fixing my computer. My little brother messed up something on the computer, got us a virus, etc and he used system recovery on it. My computer was set back to like 2003 and I had to fix it today. I was very angry; lost some important files with all my login stuff, all my favorites, my macromedia programs, my file zilla client, and had windows explorer 6 :/
-So I spent the day deleting unnessary programs, updating the computer, running a virus scan, cleaning disk space, defragmenting.
-Bidvertiser has not paid me yet but they should be paying me today
-Adding post to my blog later.

-My little brother isn't computer inclined...why didn't he just wait for me to wake up before blasting back to the past?

Great read lemon. The fact that you are actually continuing to dedicate yourself to this site and follow everyone's suggestions already proves something about your character. Keep the updates going, you are on a great track so far and should now start dedicating some more time to monetizing that traffic. Your homepage is a little clustered and the "hero" image really takes up a lot of space for how low quality it is. Take a look at some proven landing pages and maybe try to adapt yours to include some clean horizontal banners in-between line breaks every page or so. Keep it up!
