that lucid dreaming shit is NOT recommended. that's not how to do lucid dreaming that's how to get into fucking sleep paralysis, which is not only not entertaining, but probably one of the most terrifying experiences you can go through. the hallucinations you see are not cool by any means. just imagine the scariest fucking shit you can and that's whats going to happen. fuck sleep paralysis

dude, i'm not kidding when i say it's probably going to be the most terrifying experience of your life...unless it happens differently for different people, which is a distinct possibility. it's just fucking awful. it's like your nightmares are being played out in front of you. any lights in your room become eyes watching you, etc.


anyway, the real trick is just to sleep on your back. it happens a lot when i'm super fuckin tired...i'll be falling asleep before my body is actually ready to, and start drifting in and out of it. pretty much i will have trouble moving, start hearing some fucking awful roaring/whispering noises, not be able to move/feel a weight on my back, etc. i know when it's happening now so i just keep my eyes closed the whole time and wait for it to end.

that description probably sounds retarded, but it truthfully is really hard to describe. you'll know when it's happening. trust me. also it happens a lot when i'm actually thinking "hmm, i wonder if i'll have sleep paralysis tonight"

I know what you mean. My television was swaying back and forth and eerily closing in on me one time during lucid dreaming. You'd honestly be better off getting high instead of this shit.

Let me take a stab at what you mean by sleep paralysis...

One time I was just tired as fuck and I was just lying on the couch on my front.

For 10 seconds I was awake but paralyzed, I couldn't do ANYTHING. My brother was right next to me, and I was trying so hard to scream "help" but I couldn't get the words out. I tried moving my arms, anything, but I just couldn't move. Those 10 seconds felt like eternity and I literally felt like dying.

Now, thank god that was only 10 seconds. If that shit lasted even a minute, I think I would have gone insane.

I'm a stoner and I think it's pretty cool to have a couchlock, but that sleep paralysis shit was a lot different....
