I am looking to buy the lightest, smallest (in volume) USB/Firewire drive with as much storage capacity as possible, that can be carried around at the most in a trouser pocket (so desktop drives like Lacie's big drives wont cut it). I ebay'ed and found USB key drives with up to 64 GB capacity (I would need more capacity, more than say 100 GB), but I would like to ask here, what are your personal experiences? If you have one to sell pls PM also (with a pic if possible).

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I would have never guessed WD made such huge capacity portable drives. Seeing the WD site they also make 750 gb portable drives, and they also announced the 1TB portable but that isnt available anywhere (even on their own online store)

Now I am in search for a costco discount code/coupon code/membership code to get the $6 discount they charge for non-members... If anybody have please post.

I have a Lacie pocket drive that's not any bigger than the WD passport ones that has served me well for a few years. The design has changed slightly since I bought mine and they also come in 500gb capacity now.

I've never had any problems, but knowing Lacie's track record though I would probably go with WD if I were buying now.
