Does PPC Coach put too much emphasis on Adwords skills? IMHO that's the easy part.. finding good offers and building believable LP's is the harder part.
After doing some searching, I see that PPC Coach has a thing called the "Offer Database" (for searching offers from multiple aff-network sources) and the "Landing Page Generator" which seems to be a couple of scripts (php?)
Are these 2 tools worthwhile?

No one is going to coach for 3% of your earnings while bringing another potential competitor into the market.

For the offer database uses AffSpy or the other ones. And the scripts aren't really worth the membership, except the ppc keyword tracker. I like it more than p202, and wish he would release it stand alone.
I see that PPC Coach vs Wealthy Affiliate get compared to each other a lot.

PPC Coach is highly recommended by a lot of people here, and I'm a member myself. You can surely find the same info here and elsewhere for free, but it will remain an confusing jumble of info far longer.
What got me into the program was the understanding that PPC mistakes are expensive.
PPC Coach has good rep and is $50 for the first month.
If you don't think it's worth that, you've wasted $50.

PPC Coach is a great place for people starting out but you are right, most of the site is targeted towards adwords users.
As far as the tools go, the "Offer Database" is not very impressive, you'd be better off using affspy if you want something like that and it's free.
The landing page generator is nice but you could make a one time purchase for scripts elsewhere that do the same things.
With that being said, what does make ppc coach worth joining is the other wide variety of useful tools you get access to including an awesome tracker. The forums are also packed with useful information and a few guys who are very helpful.
So overall ppc coach is definitely worth joining, just not for the reasons you stated.
