Why would I want to buy someone a ticket anonymously?
Personally, I'd prefer to give value by donating money to charity, or donating tickets to charity. There's no reason that needs to be anonymous.
As for the whole camwhore angle, where the camwhore has someone give a ticket anonymously, I don't see that working either. If I was a camwhore, there's no way in hell that some creepy dude that bought me a ticket gets to know where I'm sitting during a concert/game.
P.s. Investors invest based on the team more so than the idea.
