The routing number for wire transfer may be different from the routing number for direct deposit/ACH.

For most banks, the routing numbers on the check will only work for ACH transfers, not the traditional wires. Traditional wires require a different routing number that is on file with the Fed.
As someone who used to work at a bank and do wire transfers on a daily basis - this is not true.

Also, Yep! Revenue pay me by Paypal.

He's talking about International Wires.. Domestic wires will work fine with the numbers on a check, Intl you need a SWIFT code.

So what do the networks that do NOT pay out via PayPal have to say about this?
The amount of garbage I got as an explanation why check > wire or Paypal amazed me to no end.

Anyone?

I think that's an excellent question, would be curious to see what anyone says.

Repeating my previous post:
The routing number for wire transfer may be different from the routing number for direct deposit/ACH.

Examples:

Bank Of America - has different routing numbers for paper, electronic and wire transactions.
Bank of America | Please Select Your State

KeyBank - has the same routing number for ACH and wire transactions (though paper transaction has a different routing number).

Due to the global nature of our network, we pay by paypal, xoom, wires, check, etc. It's not difficult, just a little extra work on the accounting side of things.

Of course, that doesn't figure in the pubs who send junk traffic that has to get cleaned up, but then those pubs don't get the instant payment type options.

Usually PayPal can give problems to these networks with business accounts, sometimes when paypal makes a mistake or screws up your shit, the network will never use paypal again due to them screwing you over. Other than that, I totally agree with seeing paypal as a payment option on a bunch of these networks, and I do plan on to use it for mine once i've launched.
