Hello all
i wander if there is some tool like MS access that will let me to create dynamic php pages
supporting db without knowing to program?
Thanks

well im software developer that looking for feedback

on this idea
i like to build such thing so people like designers or marketing or advertisers
or orderly folks could build dynamic web sites

umen their are tons of services out there such as yellow pages to do such a thing. Basically you need to have a database to store information that you then wrap around templates. If you have clients ready to purchase your service, you should get yourself a professional developer to develop it for you, but in all reality unless you have a specific nitch type system, most people would go with Yahoo or YellowPages.

There's also free scripts out there for it, and you can purchase templates, but end result you will need the templates broke up and put into the system.

Thanks for the replay

can you please more info im not familiar with the sites you gave me
as i said im just looking for feedback , also i would like to make it desktop application with the possibility to make stand alone application ( excusable )

also a "developer toolkit" for dreamweaver that extends the native capabilities of DW - sucks though as it always develops a bug somewhere down the line.

Really only good for sites you don't plan on editing again later - and the code is very bloated compared to what you can do with just normal code.

Stm: He want's it automated I am pretty sure. UMen: There used to be a tool by AOL that did this that people could download called 123-publisher I believe. Frontpage Express is also a free version like dreamweaver cut down a whole bunch as desktop software goes. Nothing however will give you out of the box database driven websites that are custom to your needs. You will have to fit inside the preset structure, or else require custom coding.

Can you give a better example of what exactly you want and maybe we can help you better?

An automated process to do it nearly perfect without any programming language, is to talk into this thing called a programmer, it's not instant, but generally those things can interpret better what you mean than a WYSIWYG editor especially when it comes down to dynamically driven websites. The prices for one vary of course.

No excuses.

hello and thanks for the reply i appreciate it very much
i will try to explain again sorry for my bad english
first of all im programmer that looking for feedback on this idea
i know that good dynamic web site only good programmer can build and nothing can replace this
but , what about cases that you need to build simple inventory or simple db application
the one that application like MS access do or Openoffic base do , or sites like BubbleDB.com do
but to do it as desktop application the result or php files or standalone executable file .
for none programmers.
is there such tool ?

Umen: Again each industry will have their own wants and needs. The type of inventory that a clothing department store needs is a heck of a lot different then the type that a car repair shop needs. I would bet theirs a whole crap load of software for this both ranging from extremely expensive because it auto ties in with your UPC codes, such as a chained store uses, to very basic and free such as you can find at SourceForge.

If this is for any real life company, ACCESS or OpenOffice is not ideal as they (at least access) has some huge flaws. 1) It has cap of how big certain things such as strings or how many rows it can handle 2) It can only be accessed for writing by one person at a time. Unless you are the soul person in your business, theirs a chance 1 or more people might need to access your inventory and update it at once

In reality each and every company should look at their specific wants and needs and find a solution that is right for them. If you have enough inventory that you need to regulate it, you should spend the little money in comparison to make sure it's done right. You usually always get what you pay for in almost every field, and in software that stands true. Theirs tons of free graphic design software out there, but none come close to touching photoshop. You can find dozens of accounting solutions out there for free, but nothing comes ballpark close to QuickBooks. And you can find dozens of free GUI of WYSIWUG web developers out there, but in my opinion, Dream Weaver will always take the cake in usability.

i know all that

the question is is there a need for such tool to the same target audience
that using access
