I received this email from LookSmart with a coupon code for $150 (0117FPP). Can I use this $150 without spending any money? Like I know in MS adcenter you have to spend $5 to use it. Thanks.
 


yea i just got that one too, was about to put it up. u dont have to spend anything to have it work, but u still do need a credit card
 
How can I get one?

Oh, and I used to hate looksmart about 3-4 years ago.
I figured they had died.
 
hey be careful with looksmart, you have to set your daily spending limit low because they automatically charge you 3x your daily limit. I think if you use that coupon you have to have a higher than normal daily limit. I talked about it before and someone emailed me saying that looksmart automatically charged them $400 after setting up some campaigns

I don't think you have to spend $150 to get $150. You deposit $150 and then the coupon covers it, charging you $0.00. My question is can I just cancel after I spent the $150 and not pay anything? I hope this is the case since I just signed up.
 
Romstar - I seem to be stuck in the signup process. I don't see a field in the sign up screen where I enter my CC# that shows how much I want to deposit? I see a drop down for a recharge amount, but that's it;...
 
Is looksmart really slow? I just setup a ton of ads and I am not getting any clicks or impressions. I am ranked #1 for all my terms, and when I search for it at looksmart.com it doesn't show up either.

it takes a while, maybe a day, it doesnt happen instantly. also depends on how many keywords you have.
