I actually thought it was great. Then again I don't promote weight loss. But I'm pretty sure if I was a fat chick, I would have been all about the before and after pics. Especially if I just recently reproduced.
Same here. As big of a pain FB is, for some reason I can't get stuff to convert on MySpace like it does on FB...I suppose there is more research to be done.
I've lost over $20K running various offers on MS, their traffic isnt the best. Through the myads program you get all the shit impressions no one else wants. Try doing a CPM buy direct with their sales people. Youll get ahead of myads in the daisy chain and get better quality impressions
Ya there are several problems with Myads ever consider same person clicking on the ad twice? Wonder if they prevent that with a cookie or ip tracking. Also they should give you a frequency Cap option CTR would be higher and you would spread your ads evenly over more people. An no ability to add flash banners
I have people that aren't competitors that click my same ads 10+ times on myspace. I know because there are hundreds of them. I cannot believe people would have the time/idiocy to do that.

Dude, you can not give it a few hours to decide if you are making or losing money. Give it a week or so, or at least enough volume to allow you to get some better figures.

I dont use tracking/prosper 202 but rather a custom coded solution. Do you have access to the referrer logs? Did you receive the right amount of unique clicks? How does that compare to the raw clicks? Dig into it and find out. If it doesn't match up call myspace.
Another thing you need to look at when advertising on MySpace or FB is your targeting. There are literally millions of niches. A RON campaign may not working but targeting women age 25+ who like to read this certain book can seriously increase conversion rates. With both MS and FB you can be very granular with your targeting, only issue is there are millions of possibilities and no really good top level reporting for you to quickly test them.
Both platforms are relatively new and continue to launch improvements, hopefully more data back on where your clicks and conversions are coming from will role out soon.
