I need some help. I am not sure what else to look into. I have a campaign running for a product "XYZ" the domain is called "XYZ.com". The term "XYZ" is in many places on the front page and sub pages (including in title tag and H1 tags). The domain has been around with the same owner since 2002. According to Yahoo Site Explorer the domain has 285 indexed pages and 1574 in-links (excluding links from xyz.com).

So here is the problem... I have a campaign running on Google search only and am bidding on 8 keywords in the group, all variations of product name XYZ or XYZ.com. all are phrase or exact match.

The keyword "XYZ.com" is set to exact match and has had 6 clicks out of 80 impressions since it was setup for a CTR of 7.50%. This is not a competitive nitch, and at most I see one other ad up for this product.

Google says the QS of that keyword is 3/10. The ad direct links to XYZ.com.

All the other keywords are similar in QS and overall the adgroup has had 72 clicks on 2,969 impressions for a CTR of 2.43%.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I presume you're also using the KW in your ad. I'd stick my site into the Google Keyword tool and see what it sees as relevant. It might give you some pointers to where a problem might lie.

After doing some more tests, I believe the account is pentalized. I just setup a new campaign with the ad:

Register A Domain Name
Domain Name Registration Has Never
Been Easier. Use NameCheap Today!
Namecheap.com - Cheap domain name registration, renewal and transfers - Free SSL Certificates - Web Hosting - Free URL Forwarding, e-mail forwarding and DNS services are included with our cheap domain names registration service

Ran it with the keywords "Register a domain name" and "Register Domain Name" as phrase match.

Google gives them both a QS of 3/10 and says :

Below first page bid
First page bid estimate: $12.00

Looks like my days with google are numbered on this account....

Thanks ELIQUID for the suggestion and test!
