Hi guys,

I'm moving up from direct linking to hosting and developing my own Landing Pages to promote offers, especially as I'm stepping up from email / zips to higher paying offers which I feel need far more presell - just want your advice as my html is not the best - I am constantly learning !!

Should I use - landing page templates or a html editor - I've got serif web plus se which I have used in the past.

Any recommendations for Landing Page Templates ?

I also wanted to encorporate an aweber template in to the landing page to capture emails for list building.

Hey boss, just letting you know, LPs are a touchy subject around here. No one likes sharing, rightfully so. So don't expect anyone to give you too much good advice in this thread.

The best thing to do is design your own and test them. Test different headlines/images/text/layouts/designs/etc. Just keep testing until you find the lp that works best for your offer.

A few tips:

Think about what you're preselling. Think about how the final offer page looks (and what it says) and how you would feel as a consumer if you saw one thing on the presell and something radically different on the offer page?

Good luck.

Hire someone, see buy/sell/trade section.

Better to spend $$$ on a LP from someone who knows what they're doing than split-test your shitty template design to -ROI

Just use the email creatives from the offer and slap it on a landing page with some modifications...the company already spent time and $$ to create those so use 'em..

Making the LP look similar to the site works well and is mad easy to do in photoshop.

What narsticle said.

You have to keep the continuity of the 'story' going on in the visitor's head.

For example: visitor clicks on ur ad, goes to your kewlio LP done all up in black and red with flaming text effects and lots of boobage. Visitor then clicks through to offer page for skin cream in pastels and lowkey verbiage. No sales ever - you interrupted the flow of the story and the mouse scampered off. Either make your LP pastels and lowkey verbiage, or make sure the offer page has flaming text effects and boobage.

Easy :D
