Does CL have a history of suing people? I'd still hide the whois info on the domain. If the car was really mine, what could they say? :-)

That said, this seems like a lot of effort for a few clicks.

Yes, they do have a history of suing companies. Just a few days ago, there was a thread on here that said that CL was suing an Ad Positing Software Company.

Hiding the whois information on your domain wouldn't help anyhow. If CL wished to prosecute you legally, then the hosting company MUST expose your contact information. Though, to stay safer, you can purchase a visa gift card with cash, drive down to your nearest internet cafe place; and then start up the domain with the hosting.
