Make money with domain names!

If you know where to look there are some gems to be had dirt cheap. As far as BH is concerned, aged domains are gold! I know of one site in particular where domains with PR 3/4 can be purchased for around $15! However, you need a script to search through the many tens of thousands of domains listed on that site - very difficult by hand!

Are there any other ppc programs for domains other than adsense?
 
I used to be really into making money with domains. Its alot harder now than it used to be. If you got in before 2000, you could get some good names. But now the easiest way you can make money is with typo's. Or if you have a ton of cash to buy a generic name (i.e. cars.com) that gets type ins. But good generics can cost unbelieveable amount of cash . If you wanna learn about domains check out dnforum.com, this is one of the best places to buy and sell domains
 
I picked up (what I think is) a great name today from an expired listing: freetruelove.com - watch out Markus! Hehe.
 
i question whether that is real. all i can say is he must have had some FUCKING PREMIUM domain names and registered them back in the early 90s.

It is kinda a stupid article.

Yea I could make $1000 a day with cellphones.com but I could have also made $10 million if I bought $10,000 of cisco stock in 1990. Its all about being at he right place at the right time and luck. Nowadays the domain market is oversaturated. 99.999 percent of domain names are shit and give no type in traffic. Most of those that do give type in traffic get only one hit a day or something.

There are domains that do give lots of type in traffic but they are sold at a VERY hefty premium because of oversaturization.

I don't recommend domain name parking. There are much better ways of making money online which require less work, risk, and initial investment.

And do't think about getting into the backorder/drop domain business either. There are 1000's of guys in romania with systems to pick up valuable dropped domains b4 you have any chance of getting them.
 
haha sex.com. I remember at one point, it was the only porn site I knew of. and I was there 24/7. :rolleyes:

I rember reading that sex.com got stolen by a conman, he made a shitload of money out of it before it got transfered to its rightful owner.
