Making money with blogs?

I didn't really know where to put this post but shooting the shit seems to fit.

I've got a blog with decent pagerank and ok readership that I stopped posting on in March. It gets some traffic and ranks decently on google for some ok keywords.

Now that I am making a bit of money on affiliate marketing I am thinking of paying someone to post for me to keep the blog active. My question being, is this worth it? I've never seen much of a return on investment with blogs, my main investment in the past being time and energy.

If I was to get the blog up and running, what are some good ways to monetize the blog and what kind of money is there to be made on them?

My blog is Steepology Tea Blog and it is focused around tea.

Any ideas or insights?

Depends on your ROI. If you spend $5 an article and can make a sale to cover that depending on your traffic, then hell yeah its worth it. Just set them shits to auto-post on schedule and you should be fine. Like if had 5 posts reviewing various teas out there with Aff links, and if they cover your expenses then hook it up
