Two questions that I would love to hear your thoughts on. For a small business starting on a small marketing budget, do you think allocating $1,000 will produce any results? Is that too small?

Hello Meredith,

What niche are you in? What are you planning to allocate the money on? PPC, article marketing, etc..?$1,000 will help get you started. The key to this is to test your marketing and see what works for you and then allocate more money to what's working. For example, in PPC, you can bid on the high converting keywords that everyone is bidding on. This will increase your cost and traffic, but it will not bring in the targeted traffic you want. So depending on the skill of either you, your employees, or an outsourcer, it can be very costly or very profitiable if you can find he right combination of keywords. This is were testing comes in.

I hope that helps!
