match/singlesnet lawsuit regarding images in ads

better yet..why not just pay a few bucks for a legitimately licensed image?

I don't understand why anyone would risk being sued when you can just get away with paying $50 to some broke college chick to license out an image.

1. stock commercial photos have shittier CTR in my experience. CTR is much better when it looks amateur.

2. because you need to split test a shit load of images/people to optimize your ads.

Maybe she doesn't care about the use of her image, but is looking for attention? Evident of her accepting friend requests from randoms. Then again, maybe gay webmasters are just her thing.

Maybe she's an AM who is looking to target affiliate marketers via facebook.

1. Put up adds for singlesnet
2. Send C&D for essentially your own ads
3. Facebook puts your name in front of thousands of affiliates
4. Affiliates creep your fake profile on facebook
5. Add them
6. Wait
7. ???
8. Spam with affiliate networks, biz ops, etc.

Sounds like she/he is currently executing step 5.

I'm assuming this isn't a network creative, so where's the shit storm about that copy being sent to every single affiliate? Not that it's amazing but the picture alone would have sufficed.

lol @ you nerds adding her on Facebook.

On a serious note, this isn't even a problem. Just make your own fucking creatives. Here, you can even have this one I made. 8% CTR:
