Me Owning Facebooks CPC

I still can't get past the error message "please enter a valid address".

Anyone know of a way around this?

This happened to me a ton also... All it is, was I called my CC, and it I was had a PO box signed up as my address instead of my house...

I have a normal residential street address, and get the error...

you may want to call your cc company and just make sure...

Is this happening to anyone else? im getting tons of clicks, but nobody is actually entering a zip code -_-

how long does it take for Copeac to update its leads....

As far as ad copy goes... be unique... the ads I have ran were all pretty original, nothing copied from a sales page or the like.

With describing HOW the person can get the free product (if you're promoting say a free xbox360 email submit)

Ad copy 1:
TITLE:Get Yours For Nothing!
For a limited time you can
have a spankin new console!
Imagine having one that cost
you absolutely nothing!

Ad Copy 2:
TITLE: Get a free XBox360!
Act now and fill in you're email
then complete 5 different paying offers
then you can get it for free!! Yay

---
Seems to me ad copy one would probably get through their filters. And would probably have a higher CTR. (Does anyone even know if they've implemented a QS thing yet? To where you're cpc would be higher based on the quality (or shittiness) of your site?) I don't think so...

Ad copy two you probably wouldn't even get off the ground, just because I used the elusive "FREE XBOX" right in the title... Even if it did get off the ground... You would have a shitty CTR, leading to lower conversions... because the people see what they are going to have to do.

The whole point of promoting those ZIP/EMAIL submits to me (As a publisher) is to get the fucking zip/email and gtfo... I'm not responsible for bounced sales and the like, as long as my stats scrub down well I'm happy.

PS- By Monday it is going to be pretty worthless to pormo and low paying $1something/lead zips/emails... CPC should rise as more people are being made aware of facebook's advertising powers, also as their programmers are hard at work thinking of ways I can't put a fucking Affil. ad up.

CPC has definitely been on the Rise, but it depends on the AD & Target. I've got some targetted Ads actually doing really good at <$.10 CPC.

Then untargetted Zip Submits are around $.15 CPC right now.

I've not had any of my accounts touched today, and following the rules as best I can.

Has everyone else been getting abysmal CTR's or is it just me? I can barely get 0.5% CTR on most of my ads. I've been using a catchy title (Want an Xbox360?) with a image of the offer I'm promoting (like a picture of an Xbox360) and then some text like "Get it for nothing" or something to that effect in the body. Getting plenty of impressions, but can't get clicks. Any clues?

Over the past couple days I've been getting some crazy CTRs and very cheap clicks like lots of other people here I'm sure. I've been disabled a few times for pushing mobile offers (not ringtones but same concept) but now the last account I didnt get any impressions at all and then was disabled. Are they prescreening everyone's ads now?

And has anyone had any success getting an account reenabled yet? I'm not sure if I should just make a new account with the same CC that I've been using and see if I can make my ad copy look more legit or go with a new CC. I feel like maybe I should hold out on my other CC so that if facebook ever makes their program and terms less cryptic I wouldnt have to worry about already having disabled accounts on my CCs.

I've had some very attractive offers and would love to get %.50 CTR lol.

With as many impressions as Facebook feeds, %.20 does well if you do untargetted.

All right I snapped and opened a new account. First one since getting banned. Used a different last name on the profile (my middle name), same credit card as before.

Not linking to affiliate directly. Not using any iffy words like 'free'. Let's see how long I can last...

account disabled. didn't use 'free' or direct link. oh well.

Traffic was really chugging along earlier, but its been dropping since around 4PM. I'm thinking its either an influx of advertisers, throttling of "free ads", or just low traffic right now for Facebook.

The Hammer is falling once again. I was A-Ok up until now, accounts getting disabled again without reason :|

CPC's are also jumping up. Like some others mentioned you could get them easy for <$.10 up until now. Its around $.15 for most part, although you can target specific demographics that are often cheaper, so I'd suggest that.

I could swear I posted a response. Strange.

I'll make it quick, they're disabling accounts again pretty hard. I've seen a big drop in traffic, even though this is likely a peak time of the day for them.

they disable them, just make another......your back up and running in 5 mins.

watch in a week or 2 they will enable all accts again and everybody will get massive charges to their cc lol

They are definitely using the CC# to ban accounts. As a test I put up a totally innocuous flyer (not selling anything, just advertising a blog) and it ran fine for about 20 hours. Then, on a different account I made an ad that would definitely trip the sensors ('Free', misleading adcopy, etc.) but used the same CC# as the test. As expected, the 'bad' ad only lasted about 5 minutes, and within 5 minutes of it being deactivated, so was the test ad.

We all pretty much knew this already, I just wanted to be 100% sure. My ads which use the same billing address but different CC#s don't seem to be affected by deactivations (trust me, I've had plenty).

Since the first post about Facebook CPC ads on this forum, my CPC has doubled. Thanks WickedFire!!!!

Anyway, looks like their ad team finally woke up today & started disabling accounts again. Thankfully most of my accounts hit the $50 daily limit first. This game of cat & mouse gets quite boring after a while... *yawn*.

haha, I was thinking that as well.. that would suck. :xomunch:

Yeah I'm getting disabled really quickly right now too.

This morning I had accounts maxing out the $50.

And that wouldn't suck cause everything most of us are running on all our accounts (or were running) is profitable :P
