Micromanaging Bids...

Just wondering how you guys micromanage your bids- or do you even do this? It is such a pain in the ass to update more than a few individual bids in 7search that I have just been doing .06 for each key word in my list.

I have tried filtering by volume - since words w/ low volume usually have lower bids...but even then it takes time. Any easier way to do mass updates in 7search based on ranking? Obviously if there is a high volume keyword, and the top bid is 20 cents, and the 2nd bid is 3 cents I would love to be able to bid 4 cents - but clicking in that stupid 'smart bid' window is such a pain when there are hundreds of words.

I would love a feature there that did a 'come in at number X spot for the top provider in the smart bid window' w/ a cap that you could set.
 


that feature is called 'MAKETOP' and it's in the 7search control panel

you can choose to be #1,2 or 3 with a max bid.


the problem is, if you use that feature it changes the bids on ALL your campaigns. if you want to do it PER campaign, you need to submit a request. (which is lame)
 
yeah but it only does that for the top spot in 7search- which might not be near the top 5 in the 'smart bid' window.

btw- can you put a cap on the bid you place? I haven't done this yet since I was afraid of it putting some of my bids at like 25 cents and then me cursing life and spending hours going through my bids to lower them...
 
Yeah 7search bid management is not so good.
I´m just uploading a bunch of sites and getting them ready.Once I have around 20-30 sites done, I´ll just use MakeTop.
 
do you spend hours on one site making each of your keywords optimized per site? If I have 1k keywords for one page I would love to take the time and update each individual bid for what its worth, but dont' have hours to spend on it...
 
also dillinger what exactly is MakeTop? sorry for the multiple posts- too much booze tonight...not thinking straight ;)
 
OK- since I was a little out of it yesterday let me repost in one reply the questions I have...

What do you guys do to micromanage bids other than spending hours going throuh each individual word at a time. Or is that what you do?


Do you guys advertise on other sites at the same time as 7search? Like MSN, etc.?
