Anyone keeping up with this? Windows 10 is looking better and better by the day. I would have more updates, but technically, I'm working right now. Visual Studio Code looks interesting, and I wonder how the new app store will work out now that you can porn your Android/iOS/websites easier. I have a few plans in the oven as we speak.

It looks promising. If they can get Windows 10 apps to work across my computer, tablet and phone seamlessly I'm switching from Apple. That's what I've wanted all along..... well that and porning my android/ios/websites easier too. God I love porn...

Ah....Porntopia!!!

Wut? Microsoft doing something useful maybe? I can have Porn on my Phone so I can Fap in the Bathroom while shopping at Walmart?

We live in THE BEST TIMES EVER!!! :rasta:

Microsoft Visual Studio IDE has always been one of the best of the best!

I can't wait for this, it's going to be awesome.

Code is already out (at least the beta) if you want to try it. It's basically another JSish text editor + intellisense for #justhtmlthings. I kicked NP++ off my desktop for it. (Realistically, I still use emacs for anything heavy duty for now (mostly org-mode and a lot of buffers I enjoy leaving open (I just found out that there's a reverse polish notation calculator built-in last night, too))).

Visual Studio Code looks interesting, but with every other cut down version of Visual Studio, I'll just stick the the full version.

If you need cross platform IDE and want to develop using ASP.NET 5 then it looks like a winner.

MS has also started to release plugins for the other major IDE's, emacs and the other one everyone loves but I can never remember the name of, which makes development of ASP.NET 5 and Azure easier, which is nice.

But if you already have Windows as your main dev environment then just get the full version of VS.

Like (O_o) said, VS is one (and IMHO it is the best) IDE.

Personally VS Ultimate is my version of choice, but then I don't pay for it so it's an easy choice.
