Austin, TX
I live in Dallas and will be moving to Austin (about a 3 hour drive). Im looking for a solid moving company. Any reccomendations? Feel free to post your horror stories as well.

Check the forums at movingscam dot com - found great movers that helped with my move from NYC to ATL. Many of the big companies outsource to smaller companies in the regional areas.

I knew a girl that had an Uncle that knew someone that used to live near Austin. I think they had a van, but I'm not sure. Plus, they probably sold it by now.

Does that help?

At least he is not moving from Austin to Dallas, that would be tough.

Austin is the most livable city in Texas. Its all them sophisticated hicks.

Austin is nothing like the rest of Texas. It's actually a really cool place to live. :)

Sounds like you don't think much of the rest of your state!?

If I've got this right, Texas was instrumental in the death of possibly the best president and the rise to power of possibly the worst....

Hehe.

I would love to live in Austin. I am tired of the city (chicago). Now I'm moving to the nyc area. I would rather be around fishing and drinking.
