Better quality video with more demos and apps
May have been posted before, I think it's a few years old. But check it out :) CNN uses it now to present election data

This stuff isn't really new, as you mentioned, but its still interesting to see. I'm sure the hands on functionality will make it easier for non techies (like some of our parents) to get accustomed with computers.

If it hasn't been done already, I wouldn't mind seeing an image uploading site that catered to this way of object movement. Without going crazy with Ajax (and the like), I don't think I'm the only one who would enjoy more of this type of movement on websites while most of us continue to use the mouse.

I would go insane learning that.. It's bad ass, not sure what I would use for it though..

I'd rather a Microsoft Surface ;)

Actually, stuff like this kinda worries me about the continued "dumbing down" of computers and their interfaces.

Sure, make it easier for some people. Go get Vista if you've got a 5 year old kid, etc... But there are some of us that actually like to have full control over what we're doing, and the only way to get that sort of control is with a keyboard that doesn't require a "driver" to get it working, and can be easily & cheaply swapped around if it becomes unresponsive to touch.

MS seem to have this continued drive and push to ensure that people don't actually know how to operate a computer, just how to use one (if people understand the difference I'm driving at here).
Steve Ballmer mentioned something this year that really worried me. He wants to see MS running entirely voice & touchscreen activated OSs by 2012...
