My computer keeps fucking rapping

For some reason my computer raps every 10 minutes or so. All I hear is a 1-2 second clip of some rap song and then it stops, I have NO idea what's going on. What the fuck is happening?

An ad in MSN or AIM maybe? There's a Spanish one in MSN that I get from time to time that plays the sound of screeching car tires every 10 minutes or so.

This happened to me and I searched FOREVER trying to figure out what it is. Whoever said "Custom AIM noises" is absolutely right.

Go into your AIM and change the settings to make sure all those notification sounds are off. Your problem will be fixed.

The thing that tricked me is a little status icon pops up in the status tray whenever it happens, it seemed to happen at random times, etc...

But yeah, Custom AIM noises.

One of the reasons why I never use the company's own instant messenger client (using AdiumX on my macbook, and use Trillian on my PC, though all I do is chat anyways).
