I've recently taken the plunge and going to start hacking away every day for several hours at my goal: to make money online. I'm into my second month at IM. I have been reading every single day forums, websites, anything I can get my hands on. I have a php programming backround with strong HTML/CSS skills. I can write websites by hand and code some forms and other stuff in PHp and some perl by hand. I was recently approved for maxbounty after having some success registering a few domains and getting them to rank high. It was pretty easy to get approved once they call you as long as you can talk tthe talk and know you lingo. With very little time invested, I've been able to get a few of my domains ranked high (mostly first page, some second, some third) for keywords getting upwards of 100,000 global searches per month. My sites are getting over 1000 direct clicks per month each. Havn't been able to get #1 for anything yet but I think with time and patience I can def get there.

Anyway, I think I went in the wrong direction regarding the niche I did originally and am giong more towards some micro niche keywords. Mostly 2-3 word searches that get upwards of 300,000 searches or more. So I've registered a few domains, picked about 20 max bounty products, and set up a few wordpress blogs and I'm doing "reviews" for these sites. Do you guys think I will have any luck with this in actually monetizing? Would it be better to stick with one product? The products I am using are all in the same niche, and I've really scored and found some solid .coms for. What is the best way to market this site if so? Should I go straight up white hat SEO along with back linking the hell out of it and directory submission, blog comments, blah blha blah...or something else. I'm also going to make some videos and do some video submissions linking back to my site.

joevis: i get it, you think i should read more. please know this about me: i subscribe to the ideal that i never stop learning and reading. i have a great job that enables me not to worry about money or bills. in my spare time i read technical manuals, websites, howtos, faqs. I go to hacker cons (was just at 2600), seo cons, networking cons. I am constantly learning. In addition to that I am a "do-er." I have written custom software, websites, and designed and implemented VERY complex network infrasructures.

To write me off and suggest that I "read more." is just plain ignorant. Good job on your 1024 posts, I'm sure that has landed you I will never stop learning. I am always reading.

I am asking for (hopefully a couple people) to tear apart my idea, and give me some constructive criticism.

DomboCom: oooooooohhhhhh NOW I GET IT. I think joe was a little less informative in his previous post. your articulation really hit home. my impressions and clicks have doubled already! You are truly an SEO guru my friend. PM me your paypal email. Thnx playa. ;)
