So i have ventured into the realm of arbitrage. The url is - law school rankings . us - let me know what you guys think. Any type of feedback, especially from the experienced arbiters would be appreciated.

I guess it is different from the traditional templates that have been used on wickedfire, but that doesnt mean it wont work. Actually, as long as the pay per click on ur adsense ad gives u good pay out, it might work pretty well.

only two things. one is that this probably(i'm only guessing) took quite a while to design and layout. Arbitrage is largely about traffic and you simply might not be able to make a lot of sites by making such "designed" sites(you'll tire out and it is time consuming) Also your url is geared towards you keyword, which is okay in and of itself, but many people prefer to get a domain name and either make subdomains or folders within that domain for different keywords. saves the hassle of having to register all these different domains and spend money on all of them

one reason your approach is untraditional is because there are so many links for the user to click(which may be a bad thing because the user wants to click these links instead of the ad sometimes, but only testing can show the results of this), however, one suggestion i do have is to maybe take away "useless" links such as the about page which wont actually provide anything to the user, if you know what i mean

just my 2 cents

yeah, or maybe what sitemaker said.,...i just cant testify to multiple page sites so i didnt want to give false untested info.

I see where you are coming from, but I wanted to make this one a real site since I actually have specialized knowledge in the area.

As the guys above said it's not really an arbitrage site, too many leaks for a start, I wouldn't run the content below the fold and to be honest you're giving readers far too much to do on your site which will stop them clicking on your ads.

If you've got a spare half hour read through the longish arbitrage thread in this section and take notes. I've got a test campaign running at over 50% CTR and an ROI of over 300% in just a few days from a standing start after reading that thread and while I know I've still got a hell of a lot to learn I never could have got the basics right without the advice and tips on Wickedfire.

hey nero,

if u want to make it a real site, then try making it a real site. seo your site to death and add new articles every week. make it popular and it will be good. it will take a while to develop though

If you want to make it a real site then go for it, but it really isn't an arbi site. Does that matter? Fuck no. Send some ppc traffic to make sure it is converting and working the way you want it to before you start getting the organic traffic. That way you don't have to wait months to see if it was worth it or not. My $.02

There is a bunch on here and you can go to 7search and do some searches and you will see a shitload of them.

yeah ...there are examples all over this forum...and on ppc search engines...=P

edit:sry for the almost repeat comment. Jdog beat me to the punch

Ok so its been up for a day and its doing pretty well for a non arbi site. I am buying overture traffic at 10 cents per click and just about breaking even. Problems with the site are low cost per click caused by all the pages that arent keyword optimized.

The leaks aren't really leaks and I'm getting some clicks on other pages, but I think its important not to give people anything to do on the pages besides click the ads because my ctr is incredibly low.

I am going to try adding a true arbi page (without any leaks) tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the input guys!

OK so.... Ive taken everyones opinion into account and decided to do a true arbi site. It is the same type of site, but i think its got better keyword optimized ads. I'm going to be starting a 7search campaign as soon as my account gets validated. If anyone wants to take a look, the ari site is at

L S A T guide . net

who knows, maybe itll get a click or two ;)

how2makemoneywitharbi:

1 page sites
Ahh, I kind of disagree. I use two page sites, It's a custom template that took me 5 minutes to build and I tested and worked with for a while. All my sites use the exact same thing and it works amazingly well. I get a 40-80% CTR (sometimes it even peaks over 100% :uhoh2: ) I tried to get a good mix between good ad placement and keeping google happy and I think it works good. I have a left sidebar with 2 articles and an affiliate link (bad idea - don't do that, I'm talking all mine off)...it was just a test that failed. then I have 3 well placed ads in typical "navigation" and content areas and nothing else. Just keep it simple and think like a visitor and design the site; then think like google and modify the site, then test and test some more....that's the path so success with arbi!!!
