After I do all the research, I was wondering if I should start with google, fb, or adcenter. I've heard fb and adcenter are easier than google. Also, will traffic for keywords be similar across search engines, or should I use different tools for different search engines.

FB is nearly impossible to get anything through, and is pretty expensive.

Google is really good at making your entire budget disappear overnight

Adcenter is easy and cheap. I'd start there.

It's easy and cheap, but has virtually no traffic.

I'd go with yahoo, easy, cheap, and has traffic.

+ you can direct link, without getting raped.

in that case, would I be using the keyword tools that yahoo offers instead of other search engines? I'm assuming I would because the traffic might be different, but then again, I wouldn't think someone would search differently on google than on yahoo or msn.

Hey, I have a couple coupons I just got for getting hosting at godaddy. One for adwords another for fb, but i have accounts for both. If you want those lmk, i dunno if you can use them or not, but its worth a shot.

Searches aren't necessarily done differently, but keep in mind that the people using MSN, Yahoo, and Google are often different. You will generally find a less tech-savvy demographic on MSN, especially since many people think it's the only way to search - because it comes as the default IE homepage on many PCs.

And Yahoo is for the people who think they are tech-savvy, but aren't. :P

I started with yahoo and then moved to facebook. Google will cost you some $$ if you aren't careful from the start. Set daily limits that are within budget and monitor the performance of your keywords.
Good luck.

Start with yahoo, expand to msn. Later on find out whats getting you a profit, bid higher on those keywords and start including adwords.

Dont forget the ad. Ads matter. A lot.
