I saw on the news today that my HS is being shut down due to poor performance. Kind of sad to see it go.

It is a bad school, when i went to school (90-94) we had to go through metal detectors to get to class, and at least once a week some teacher got their ass beat for saying the wrong thing to a student.

Sounds like a great school. Yikes. Must have been scary to go there, student or staff!

ROFLMFAO! did you have a network of people selling your Polo and CK and whatever else was big at the time or is this something you started later in life? ok, back to work!

lol ... Polo....nah we cut class and played pool everyday, which is the reason i had to go to summer school. I actually had a teacher who told me i would amount to nothing. I want to go back and be like FUCK YOU Mr. Cohen I learned how to trick you in to doing things for me online :)

that is funny. I had a calculus teacher tell me she did not care if I understood something while we were in the middle of class. She was busy, reading COSMO! and I went to a "rich" school!

Sounds like a great idea! The community must be celebrating?

I went to 14 schools and would recommend only 1 was kept open. No they were'nt special schools!

Which school was this?
I went to J. Madison in Brooklyn.. we had metal detectors too.

I went to Lafayette HS, Madison was another one I am surprised didn't get shut down, I had a few hoodlum friends that went there in the early 90's

if Madison gets shut down I don't think there's any place to transfer the kids

there's 4.5k kids in a school built for 2k
