Good Evening Bitches,

I figured I would properly introduce myself.
I have spent some time dicking around on other forums, continually unimpressed by the majority of noobs/retards/small timers with nothing valuable to contribute.

After spending a few days reading through this forum I am quite impressed, seems to be a lot of high level conversation going on and a lot of other young guys like me who are actually making some real cake online.
Am I correct in my assumption, Have I finally found the right place?

I have been a solo, independent guy thus far.
Black Hat/Grey Area trying to legitimize and clean up my practices as my business has grown.
I specialize in social media, and cost per sale affiliate promotions for physical goods.
Over the last year I have built a monthly income up in to the tens of thousands of dollars and growing rapidly.

I am a fucking nervous wreck. All my eggs in one basket, high stakes game.
The problem with me is I am not very diversified, I can wake up any day to find that a minor policy change or a detailed investigation into my practices and I could be done. What else could a 24 year old kid do but just save all the money I’m making and look for ways to diversify and strengthen my position.
What are your guys feeling regarding the risks of self-employment as an internet marketer?

I’m a big trial and error guy, the more and more successful I get, the more you realize that the “experts” don’t know as much as they claim.
My big thing has been trial and error, I get away with a lot of shit and make a lot of money just because I do shit that people say shouldn’t work.

I guess I hope to meet some similar minded people on here.

My main question for you guys is do you look at affiliate marketing as just a means to an end? With such a rapidly changing landscape like the internet, are you confident you will always be able to stay ahead of the pack and consistently find creative new ways to earn passive income? A year into the future, 3 years, 20+ years?

There is a lot of pressure there. When you start getting into the real money online, the kind of money that could change your lifestyle.
I’m looking at buying houses and cars, but I feel like it is all built on a fragile foundation.

My plan is to take the skills I’ve learned as an internet marketer, and apply them to my own, REAL, business eventually. I hate the idea that I put all this work and effort in to something and I am still at the will of a third party. It is just another form of employment. I would like to take the skills I learn and eventually use them to invest in my OWN brand.

Pretty sure it's been said like 3 billion times, but affiliate marketing isn't a business. Use your income as leverage to create an actual, valuable, sustainable business and brand. Then scale from there.

Quit the blackhat stuff and build something of value, especially if you are pooping your pants every time an email comes in in case its subject contains "Account suspension".

Haha, soooo dead on.

I have grown accustomed to the feeling of my stomach dropping like I am on a fucking rollercoaster everytime I see an e-mail with an ominous title.
Been lucky so far.

I have begun to drink a lot more since getting into this business..

You should flow cash from high risk investments to lower risk investments like this.

Making Money Online > Offline Business > Stocks (value/growth/income), ETF's and Mutual funds and Hedge Funds if you're an HNWI & commodities/precious metals > Bonds, and other forms of debt like preferred stock > Real estate, buy to let etc > Antiques, art, wine & other alternative investments > High Interest Banking

If you go broke funneling cash like that you're either retarded and can't manage assets, racked up to many liabilities or there's no economy left. By which time the value of your assets will be the least of your worries.

Get Money . Get Paid . Become The 1%

i just want to add... if you are a multi millionaire... you really should be investing... on investments alone you should be making low to mid six figs a year

* Good for you.

* The shit sounds real, you have all the symptoms lol, including fear/nerves re the success so fast.

* Now that you're caked a bit you should def do your best to not only diversify but start acquiring assets/expenses i.e. whitehat sites/real online businesses vs. being a middle man. Hedging asap too, gold/silver/etf's/etc. as above.

* Now that you're in the 7figs, it's just a matter of time and poking around or being poked before you find yourself in xx% returns from safe MM investment clubs (pools of millionaires with exclusive club access to vip 12% returns for instance), though you can be ripped off just as easy so be careful. But yeah you should be making the money work for you don't just leave it in the bank (you're only insured for 100K if your bank goes under).

* Talk to a lawyer/CPA/Tax advisor to restructure your biz so it makes sense and you take advantage of your growth and position, you'd be surprised what they can do for you.

No dickroll yet for this n00b? Wow, what a lucky fuck.

Bottom line newbie: You already know you need to diversify; So fucking do it.

Good post OP, apart from the willy waving.

Don't you know it's terribly gauche to talk about how much money you have?

As for what to do? This seems relevant....

This "industry" is temporary as they are all are online. Trust me I have been doing this for over 15 years now. You need to adapt and change. Many many many people don't. I used to cut checks to guys every week for 100k now they are flipping burgers living in a trailer court.

Adapt or die, if you only do "affiliate marketing" as you guys call it, you are in trouble.
