My Journey to "The Big Brand" Lifestyle

I've run into this problem too. Are you using W3 Total Cache? This seemed to help me with the cloudfare issue as it lets you connect your account and modify plenty of items. :xmas-smiley-016:

This.

When I build a new site, whatever, I use a couple things:
- Adwords Coupon
- Facebook Coupon

Usually you can get 100$ worth of credits from just those two, maybe more. Take that spend, create ads that are built to do one thing, nothing more. Gather real likes, clicks, etc. Use the Newsfeed ad with a high demographic, probably 1 or 2 specific keywords in interests.

While you're driving this new traffic, track those bitches. Get a free trial at Crazyegg, or use something from CodeCanyon (Search: Heatmap) and start getting an idea of where you can improve.

Also, I'm not reading anything about you having a newsletter. Mailchimp is free and has wordpress plugins available.

After 120-160 days, rinse and repeat.

Yeah i'm definitely about to get some campaigns going for some likes and for more real interaction. Thanks for the tips btw man, much appreciated.

I do have a newsletter! And i'm using mailchimp. I also photoshopped me a little CTA image for the subscribe part and noted how to's, guides, free recipes etc.

Small Update:

Just a data update to show you guys whats been coming through.

Will do a bigger update in a couple days.
Still debating with myself on my SEO content strategy, I don't know what to do.

UPDATE

Okay so I finally got my damn laptop back from asus.
Hard-drive took a big poop and lost everything so i'm slowly getting
things back in place. Lost a lot of PSD's, images, information etc but
nothing I can't recover from.

Over the 2 weeks that I was unable to do any work my site got to marinate
a little bit at least and traffic was still coming in a little so I'm happy about that.

Heres my current stats.

Things to do/working on:
-
  • Gathering article ideas(This is constant though) and for those of you who may have trouble looking for things to write about in your niche, all I can say is "GOOGLE ALERTS". Put in your niche and get free ideas all day every day.
    -
  • Looking into buzzstream, kevin mentioned it above and I think i'm going to just bust into it. I love the ease it gives for finding potential guest posting blogs in my niche - and right now I'm going to be working on that heavily.
    -
  • Writing, writing and more writing.
Also, if anyone here has any questions on maybe how I went about certain things or want more detail on other aspects feel free to PM me. I don't mind helping out anyone as we all need help sometime.
