Recently I cancelled my AdWords Account in hopes that if I open a new one then this will delete my poor perfomance history. heh..

Today I created a NEW account with another email and the same CC.. and guess what?
My QS is still the same on a NEW account - POOR, with gigantic bids!
HOW COME??? Is it normally possible???

If this doesn't work... then HOW ON EARTH CAN I GET RID OF THAT PERFOMANCE HISTORY?? How to start all fresh???

hmmph.
On my old account I used two domains: the one which got me Poor QS, and the other which was running with AdW for only about a week or so.

On my new AdWords account I use the second domain of these two.

Did you use the same crappy ads and landing pages?

I am not sure why you thought closing your account and re-opening it would change things if you basically just did everything the same.

Unless you made major improvements to the quality of your landing page etc... it is not likely to have changed.

I'm also struggling with QS. I'm doing adwords arbi. A have a fair ammount of content on my pages, privacy, terms of use links, usual recommended stuff, but out of some 4000 keywords there is only around 100 of them available at 15 cents. I'm not using broad keywords, only phrase and exact. My content is scraped from 3-4 different sources and manually mixed.
BTW, is there some way to milk that content network, tens of thousands of impressions and not a single click. Has anyone tried image ads?

My site is not Arbi-related. It is pure white hat with "Contact Us" and "Privacy" and all that stuff..
Though Content is comewhat hand-mixed from other sites.

Everyone says that to delete KW history you just need to open a new acc. But it doesn't work 8(( I tried everything - super targeted Ads, super small AdGroups, and my LPs are very Content rich.. nothing helps really.

So what do you suppose will help in this situation?

sorry, but this has nothing to do with your adwords account but only with your site. there is no creditcard-bound adwords history on file. there is even no evidence, that an adwords-account can get "bad" by itself. the campaigns, yes. the adgroups, yes. but the account? highly doubtful.

so, you wrote "Though Content is comewhat hand-mixed from other sites.". and that is the key. let copyscape.com run across your site and check the results. if you got duplicated content, then you are punished.

also, you need to have a campaign in good standing for something like 1-2 month in order to see the effects of the qs kicking in and lowering your prices per bid. most people think, that the qs has to be low by nature but that is plainly wrong. it takes time and consistency.

also avoid playing with your adcopies and keywordlists. rather delete than than modify them, as a high frequency of change almost always affects the qs negatively from my experience.

start with small adgroups also. 20-25 keywords, highly focused.

oookay. Thanks for pesponse 8)
I'll try to get a new domain with all brand and unique content..
but I somewhat doubt this will help a lot.

At the same time I see other succesful advertisers in the same niche consistently running their Ads that point to pages with almost no content. How would you explain this?
