After reading nearly every thread on WF, I am ready to give this AM a try.(I just learned what AM stood for two days ago, that is how new I am.)

I have found a niche I know something about. I have identified several smaller niches with in that niche. My plan is to buy 10 .info domains host them on one account, and make a one page testimonial type landing page with the afiliate link on it somewhere. Each page will focus on one long tail keyword, and the content will reflect that.

I plan on marketing by article submission to ezine with a link the page I am targeting, along with adwords.
How does this sound so far?

I have no idea how to get traffic and I am scared of adwords. So, for the 2nd question. Do I set up a seperate campaign for each page? Each page will only have one targeted long tail keyword.

Last question about keyword lists. Do I use keyword lists to put those i the meta tags, or are they for ppc campaigns. That might be the dumbest noob question EVER! But I am new to this...4 days to be exact.

Is this a good strategy? What might I try different? How long till I see results?

Thanks.

It sounds like you kinda have the right idea. I'd recommend doing some reading up on Adwords : AdWords Learning Center to better figure out how to structure your campaigns. Also, I'd recommend going with .coms rather than .infos.

Depending on the niche, but if you worked hard to get the traffic, might as well get the email and market to them over and over again.

All of my niches I capture their emails in an opt in page before anything else.

WAIT!!! Can I set up a wordpress blog on the niche. Then create the testimonials in a category and link to each of them with each ad/article campaign, While also blogging about the niche in general?

Would this work? In other words - Create a blog. Write posts. Create a category called testimonials. For each targeted testimonial I write some articles and sybmit to ezine, then put " For a real life story go to www.myblog.com/post-123 For adwords too.

This way I have lots of content and targeted campaigns in one place. Cant I SEO each post to the long tail keywords?

Thanks

I think the wordpress would be a better idea than 10 seperate URLs, instead you could have one page/post per long tail.

I would think that you would want to get a decent theme for affiliate marketing, one that is simpler and focuses on the content. I think a theme with no sidebar would be good for this. it's something I've been wanting to try, but haven't gotten around to.

This is a pretty sound plan. I would hold off on adwords. If you don't know what you're doing you can lose a LOT and fast.

You can leverage the power of Web 2.0 properties, drive traffic and build links to your blog.

I think doing the wp blog is a great way to go. I personally would keep some sidebar space. Leaves room for advertising when the site takes off. :)

Good luck

Jackie

Differently Do NOT use Adwords if your only doing this "4 days to be exact" you'll be VERY sorry!

I would Do like "Jackie" says and try the Web 2.0 sites first.

@Amagz - Why would you choose a .com over a .info? What are the benefits in choosing a .com that you won't get from a .info?

Sorry I'm new to this as well. ;-)
