hehe, well after fighting some shit for hours I finally made some progress! Hopefully things go smooth from now on, getting the titles was a bitch, I tried using xml for like 5 hours then finally just processed the xml like text which ended up being 100x easier. Dunno why I didn't just do it from the start, for some reason I was focused on doing it with an xml parser :\

yeah I'm using the method he posted, with some added features etc. And yeah, it won't ping every 5 min for now, that is way too much lol

I'm just working on the xml generator part now, pinging is hella easy shouldn't take more than like 15 min to code. The xml part is gonna be a bitch though, should give me some headaches :rasta:

I just need to send Jon a pm and ask for permission to post about it in buy sell & trade after that. Oh yeah I gotta do the ftp part to upload the feeds as well :Yahoo_29: Should be easy tho
 
My feelings on this are that as soon as you and someone else get this going, youll effectively be duplicating the content on that one site and watering it down. First 'fixed' content-to-real content ratios gonna be 1:1 then, someone else come along, and its down to 2:1 the another person and your talking 75% of the site is crap spammy content.
 
^^ that's what the sites are anyway :\ The goal of the program is to gain lots of links, not publish targeted useful content on spam blogs lol. Nothing is even duplicated, just more posts get published on the spam blogs. The splogs get pinged so often that we will all have different keywords anyway.. No "human" publishes these blogs, otherwise the posts wouldn't be published in the first place.

The only content that would be replicated are the titles your are harvesting to use in your own titles in your xml feed.

The point is you want these spammy rss scraper sites to come along and scrap your feed with the keywords you target so you can gain links from them.

Also, the content in your feed for each post should be about your site you are trying to gain links for.
