Yes, I dropped the WickedFire.com bomb a ton of times, as I felt it was necessary and why the hell not? I had fun doing it, and even though our speaking session was a bit fouled up from the lack of moderator and mics for the audience, I think we can all agree it went pretty well.
The tshirts were an absolute hit. Don't blame Copeac either, blame WickedFire for it, it was designed and thought of by us, Copeac just had the balls to add their logo to it because they sponsored it. Most people saying it was done in poor taste now are people who were at the conference who thought it was funny and are just jumping onto the bashing bandwagon, which is fine with me, because let's face it, you are talking about it, so mission accomplished.
I am a bit pissed off to see Amy Armitage bash the speakers on Shoemoney's blog's comments, because Joe Whyte asked us a bunch of questions, and afterwards I remember her and Joe both thanking me and Jeremy for our answers, so not ALL the speakers were bad, come on you Aussie killer!! You know you liked what Jeremy and I said!!
I thought the show itself, the conference/exhibitor hall part was awesome, and collected over 2k business cards and shook a ton of sweaty hands, but all in the name of networking, which was the name of the game. I know we had a lot of fun, and if you want to sit there and type behind the safety net of your computer and pretend you didn't have fun, so be it, but don't think I won't call you out about it the next time I see you at a show. I'm pretty vocal about my feelings and issues especially when people lie or pretend to act one way and act another online, so if you have a problem, don't act fake about it in person and then come online to bash us, because I swear I will bring it up to you in person and take a picture of your expression and post it here for all to see. Ya dig?
