That's why after he cuts himself on glass, you pull his ass in the rest of the way and blow his brains out. Then you are good.

You think it's bad from them? I have a room that's lit with UV thanks to an ex house mate...
You just like to look at it. All over your bed, your carpet, your clothes, your hair...

it is your responsibility to research the products you promote...for example if you are promoting a hoodia product and it turns out that there is no hoodia in the pills and you are essentially advertising snake oil..yes you could get in trouble for that..check the ftc.gov website there are cases going on all the time with internet marketing...that being said if you stick to the big affiliate networks and the products they endorse you should be ok

Under this logic all the TV stations, magazines, and newspapers would be smothered in law suits. There's no way they have the time and money to check out every single product of their advertisers. Aren't all the infomercials about making crazy money with no work just like selling snake oil? But these are on all day everyday and I haven't heard of TV stations getting in trouble for running those ads.

Like mentioned above, please post some examples.

He is completely right. A person can sue anyone along the supply chain for damages that have been rendered.
Funny no?

I understand you can get sued for anything at anytime in the USA but does this mean that every large tv station, magazine, newspaper, internet site has a huge legal team devoted to dealing with the thousands of people that are suing them for advertising a product or service that caused them damages?

Examples:

I see ad on channel 1 for how to make $1,000s a day. I buy the course and end up losing $20K following its advice. Since I was damaged by the ad I saw on channel 1 I can go sue them since they are some what responsible for my damages since they showed me the scam product in the 1st place.

ABC company has a full page ad in some magazine for a food product. I go to the store and buy it. The food product causes a rash and I miss work for 1 month. Now I can go sue the magazine for displaying an ad for a food product that caused me damages.

Large internet site shows an ad for weight loss pill, I click on ad and purchase the pill. The weight loss pill really messes me up and I start having seizures. Since its the internet's site responsibility to protect me from bad products I'm going to sue them for all the damages caused to me.

I don't see how tv stations, mags, newspapers, and internet sites are able to function when they have to deal with all these law suits. It would make no sense to run these businesses since your legal fees and research team for all the products would suck your money away.

If anyone on the supply chain can get sued at any time, please post some examples. Sorry for the long post, I just have a hard time comprehending that advertisers are really getting sued for this stuff.
