I recently got curious and went back and refound my very first keyword gathering tool i've ever used. This is pretty old school from like 1998.

Network Downloads : Keyword Live /// AnalogX

I guess it uses data from:
AltaVista
Search.com
MetaCrawler
Kanoodle
SearchUK
Galaxy
InfoTiger
Upon checking it out again, it actually is still pretty damn cool. I don't know how reliable the info is but definitely cool none the less.

Just out of curiosity what was your guy's first keyword tool? Does it still work?

My first keyword tool was the most overdone thing in whole keyword tool scene - I did Overture keyword scraper.

The reason I did it was to make it easier to extract the keywords. When I scrape it, I've total control how it outputs the results. I can make it to spit out like keyword, "keyword", [keyword] and then copy/paste them into Adwords. Possibilities are endless.

Deli, I have been visitng Mark's site and downloading his tools since 96'. I think alot of people missed your link.

There are some free goldmine tools (all his tools are free) there that kicked ass back in the late 90's and still do today! He is really is a genius programmer and a nice guy too.

Downloads /// AnalogX

i definitely agree. I've been a huge fan of analogx and the work he does there since around 97. He is definitely a genius programmer. From what I heard(may not be true) he makes all his tools in assembly, and as a person who knows a decent amount of assembly, what he makes is fuckin amazing! I remember opening up like 8 instances of his programms on an old win 95 P166 and having them run full throttle and not crash once. Not to mention all of his programs are completely free with no strings attached.
Kudos to him. I wish he was more active in making seo tools.

i'm kind of too drunk right now to give any details but if i remember right I had to make some changes to my NAT table in the router to get it to work. Its because the program is so old its really meant for dialup and other connections not running through a router or firewall(not sure if the windows firewall has anything to do with it, but it might).

Hey Gang,

New guy here. Found this thread while doing some searching on AnalogX's tool. I would love to know exactly what I need to modify on my router to allow KWL to run. Since I'm doing more web-based marketing lately, I found this tool to be really interesting a few years back but no use at that time.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA

Don
