not a single conversion....

and even though i put in US traffic, i seem to be getting mainly non-US traffic

I ran my campaigns for no more than 7 hours before pausing them; had to go to sleep. Anyhow, I spent $151.30 and pocketed $300 on the dot. Not much, but the margins are looking good so far if you know what you're doing. I will see how today goes before scaling it out or cutting my budget completely.

Are you guys following the "suggested bidding" or the minimum .25 regardless of what the suggested bidding is?

Also, from observations, does it adversely affect the impression if you go below the suggested?

I'm going with the minimum bid, and getting a lot of traffic. The conversions on MySpace are mediocre, so I would suggest sticking to the minimum unless your margins are exceptional.

So what you are saying is go with minimum of .25 even though they suggest say .30+?

Updates:

Spent $25, made $52. Not too shabby. Time to scale and test.

Some tips for you guys:
Find a target audience built specifically for an offer - the more specific you are, the better your conversions will be.

From my experience, yes. You still get decent volume with going under their "suggested bids"

So far I am breaking even with a dating offer but with some tweaking and more ad groups I think it could kill. Heres another ad I'm thinking will work, haven't submitted it yet but what do you guys/gals think?

Im thinking that Septic Remedy Offer would be perfect!

I think that might be a big too big, but it would convert all day long. :)

Thanks for your input AMagz!

After seeing these ads; I was wondering if anybody has any disapproved ads. Al my offers and also pages that got disapproved on facebook got approved. Still have problems getting enough conversions.

Anyone have any luck with Ringtones? I've got a few ads with CTRs of 0.50%+ based around ringtones, but they aren't converting very well.

I had an ad disapproved because it had a trademarked symbol in the creative.

I haven't tried much, but conversions aren't good enough to pay for the ads on anything I've tried yet.

waiting on approvals and I notice after a while the banner does not appear on the campaign management screen.

Does this mean that they are reviewing them or am I grasping at straws?

Straw grasping - its just the platform being screwy...seems to happen a lot.
Open another account and submit the same ad - might get approved faster - I tried and it worked, stupid though it sounds! And a backup account is always a good idea, I found.

I had two disapproved. One was an Acai ad that used network TV and other logos. They didn't like that.

Another was a crush offer that they apparently thought was dating and didn't want it targetted to <18. My other crush offers were approved.
