I'm having no luck getting ringtone/sms ads through. Anybody have any success doing so?

Guys, what has been your average bounce rate when promoting Acai Berry on MyAds with a landing page in the style of 'beckys / amandas / whatevers weightloss' ?

I'm running a successfull campaign on Facebook, however, on Myspace, I get exactly 50% (!) of the visitors to click through to the offer page.

My Landing page to Offer page CTR on Facebook is about 25%, which I believe not too high (?) and with Myspace it is 12%... the exact same landing page.

Will be happy to hear yours.... thanks.

What is everyone bidding for broad demos, for example 18 to 65+ females. I'm bidding 42 cents and still not seeing any imps.

Really, I stick with 25 cents with basic demos 18 male, etc
With an ad limt of +$500, Within 12 hours I get clicks coming it like clockwork.

+1, I hope others chime in.

this is a stupid question but, I've never had a personal myspace account so I created an account to find the ads so I can see what people running and I can't find where the affiliate ads, I just see google ads everywhere. on which pages are the affiliate ads?

Thanks

literally all of the pages, 728x90 header and all of the 300x250's. There are still media buys ads here and there but typically if an ad is static it's most likely an affiliate going through myspaceads.

Anyone notice that there appears to be a MySpace bot of some sort hitting the ad immediately upon submittal, before an actual ad reviewer looks at the ad? It comes from 216.178.41.64, which is definitely MySpace per the whois:

OrgName: Myspace.com
OrgID: MYSPA
Address: 1333 2nd Dt Suite 100
City: Santa Monica
StateProv: CA
PostalCode: 90401
Country: US

NetRange: 216.178.32.0 - 216.178.47.255
CIDR: 216.178.32.0/20

I think maybe it does a quick check to see if the page comes back OK and maybe checks for vulgar language or something. Also we now get emails saying the ad is awaiting review, which might be triggered by that first hit.

Not a big deal but wondered if any of ya'll had theories on why they do that. =)

As far as I can tell that is actually them. My ads pretty much get instantly approved, right after that ip hits my server.

There's no way that's a real person. The "hit" comes literally less than a second after I hit 'Submit to MySpace'. Then the real person follows up from 216.205.224.64 (different IP) about 20-40 seconds afterward which does the manual review of the ad.

I'm still thinking it's just a bot doing a very superficial "review" of the ad using a few guidelines MySpace programmed into it.

Ah well who cares anyway, unlike FB they approve most of my shit so I can't complain.
