Hi Guys,

Alright, thanks to the feedback from the WF community on the names we proposed for our new SEO tool, we scratched the options we had, went back to the drawing board and now have a new, and what we hope is, an improved list.

Take your vote. We expect to have the beta testing version ready in 1-2 months tops. Still working on it, and hope to have the perfect name soon.

I'll be sure to let you all know when the beta version is ready for free trials.

Thanks for any votes!

The names are:
ezlinker.com
linkradar.com
linktaming.com
linkfetcher.com
linkmania.com

Voted for EZLinker. Much better than the others.

Just had a glance on GoDaddy and found that "Backlinkz.com" was available, which looked ok, but then I saw the price tag lol (Premium Domain price £1,531.48). Oh well.

much better than the last round:
  • linkradar would work great for a monitering/reporting tool
  • linkmania would work great for a service that creates links

though Dchuck pretty much ended the thread with his suggestions. I almost want to make a link service just to use linkholocaust.com. :pimp:

Careful you might be put on trial at The Hague.

I mean, Google's Hague Offices.

Sorry, couldn't resist the lame attempt at humor.

I don't know, I personally don't think any of them are actually adding to branding in any way. There's no ... theme. You can't really come out with "EZLinker 2.0, EVEN EASIER" or "Link Radar - Larger Radius".

I'd still go with something more able to be branded - But that's me.

linkholocaust.com

I loled for nearly 40 seconds.

"With the press of one button all of your links can be gone!"

Yeah, I hear ya on this one. But I do like ezlinker.com

It is short and describes exactly what our service does. This is especially helpful for people who barely understand SEO, which we hope will be a good chunk of our audience. Not that we won't be attracting experience blue hat, grey hat, green hat, purple hat and other colorful hat SEO people.

If all our customers could easily grasp the notion of what the tool does, I'd be a lot more inclined to get something more brandable.
