Hey everyone this is my first post, i've been reading around a lot and have been in the internet marketing game for a good amount of time now.

Let me tell you a quick story about how NB FUCKED me...

I must say, NB was an amazing affiliate for the first year then it started to suck.

Since roughly october 2008 ive brought 25-27,000 worth of leads just from one offer. I stopped that offer a few months ago because i started getting chargebacks and stuff from 2008!

It got to the point where eventually i got scrubbed more than i got paid for the week AKA lots a good chuck of profits.

I would've made about 27,000-29,000 but instead i got screwed over and made only about 22,000

what can i do i didnt wanna post on wicked fire because they were a good company but everytime i try to tell anyone they say what ever the advertiser says is true and i wont let me show them proof of pay per click accounts and stuff that i've invested and lost money because of their cb

Yep they have been scrubbing for leads in 2008 and they just keep coming from future months.

Everytime i try to get it settled up with them they are like just dont promote this niche they are known for charge backs.

but i've been promoting it since last october and have not received one charge back till about a 2 months ago from all the way back from last year!

they just tell me the advertiser has the right to charge back

what was the offer? Maybe i can give you some insight in to their history.

most advertisers out there run without any real business model, its to easy for them to make an offer and get on a network and see traffic and not have to pay for it.

networks need to require a prepayment from everyone to weed out the crap but most dont because of the fear of losing out on the next big advertiser.

was a smaller education offer... i was doing monster education fine... i was split testing multiple edus and a smaller edu all my profit is gone from it due to charge backs

invalid leads

what the hell

Hasn't Neverblue already paid you for the leads from October 2008?

How are they charging them back if they already paid you for it? They are taking earnings from recent leads to pay for chargebacks on old leads? I don't get it @_@

If that's the case, open a new account or promote the offer on another network.

Yes they already have been paid for everything i generated i havent promoted it in 2 months... now they are charging back and its killing the offers that i was running with them i basically threw away money rather then made it

I would have stopped running with them the first time they did that. So they're pulling from your payments of current stuff?

Yes, correct... they did it once... i talked to them about it they assured me ti wouldnt happen again but it did so i'm done with them for good and i lost a good chuck with them for funds already paid on... very weird this never has happened to me with any network

So many issues with networks lately. Is it that affiliates are posting more about it, or is the bad economy affecting advertisers which in turn is trickling down to networks and affiliates?

When i confronted them about their tracking being flawed and alot of tracks being missed my affiliate manager told me not to insult them because they are the top affiliate marketing company in the game and have the best system

The fact is that affiliate marketing world is super shady in most forms. Advertisers are shady and so are networks and some fricken flog affiliates. Honestly we need a super agency to look over all this BS. I have seen a network scrubbing going from 2% for an offer to 30%, wtf is with that? There are other times where advertisers and networks spilt test thank you page and have 80/20 spilt or 90/10 and guess what the 20 or 10 spilt won't even have the pixel tracking on it. all these things fuck up affiliates.

On that note a lot of fricken affiliates should be plain banned for their fucked up ways. These flogs, pop up's, and so many other obvious bs ways and networks turn a blind eye. I have seen some really sick and crazy offers etc. I am glad that google is doing their bit and slapping a lot of these loser affiliates.

Neverblue seems to be getting more and more shady.

I haven't ran anything with them since February. Why not pick a better network?

In my opinion it's the problem of too many greedy and/or stupid idiots fast-following the continuity boom coupled with the current economic climate no longer providing infinite cash to float/burn for an advertiser to run way into the red in order to grab mass traffic. So out comes scrubbing or technical issues on the page that a 5 year old kid in Laos could have prevented.
