Just missing web development as far as what they have listed. Curious if anyone has tried this service as pricing seems decent especially for managed packages.

Stop looking for a good VA via referals. Build a system to vet VAs. Then a system to train. Then write down your exact expectations for the employee, how you plan on judging his work and the risks/punishments if he deviates from the standards/works above them.

I know they are capable of development, but I wouldn't expect a good English speaking developer for $1k/mo in ANY country. They can do basic wordpress shit, probably a little more.
