Need an appraisal for this Site.

Ok, I'm planning on selling my site because well, Im 15 and wanna buy new clothes a laptop and tons of weed an liquor, anyway.. I made this website awhile ago its based around a very popular anime and I upload the episodes as soon as they come out on a video sharing site and embedd them, theres over 250 episodes I've manually uploading and posted and the site pulls in about 7,000 unique visitors a day, has made $200/month from AuctionAds and about $25/Daily from adsense. I want a good price for it..what do you think I can get for it, heres a pic (Im not providing a URL).



The market for this right now is AWESOME, also sorry about all the censoring the tiniest thing on the site can give it away. :)

So, what can I get for it?
 


I believe the general rule is 10 months revenue, so roughly $10,000 for you.

Why are you afraid of showing your site, we can't give you accurate details without taking a look at it.

I showed my site once on DP, had about 10 clones the next day, its not that I dont trust the members here, it's the lurkers. :eek:
 
You have every right to be secretive about lurkers. If you trust a few members it may help to PM them, however. But in all, Romestar pretty much nailed it for the most part.

P.S. one day you're going to kick yourself for selling it. Just FYI.
 
Where does most of the traffic come from? I mean if it comes from means that will only stay if you own the site it is pointless someone buying it
 
The OP has every right not to trust members here or anywhere else. Hell, if I were to distribute what is running through my head right now...the effects would be damaging to many things that I have done which lay the framework for it.

For well over half of the sites I have sold I ended up regretting it later on, because I could have turned them into something great, but I just sold them for the quick cash...

well if you put that quick cash into your business instead of booze and weed like the OP, you might not have regretted it later ;) (just kidding around if you can't tell)
 
A lot of people use the 10 months revenue rule when appraising sites but with this site it might not work. First of all the videos are probably someone else's copyrighted material, which makes your whole site's revenue model dependant on content that could get c&d'd at any time, which would ruin your site.

Another thing I might be wary about if I was a buyer would be the monthly revenue. Is the monthly revenue going to go down when you sell the site because the buyer isn't interested in recording and uploading the videos?

Just a couple points that may hurt your sale.
 
I'm a lurker myself, but i dont care what your site is, this is just some advice, im 19 now, but when i was 16 i sold a site making me about $50/day for 9k (it was a pretty shitty quality site) ... anyways that site probably would have grown to $100/day if i kept updating it.

Point is if you have a site that you think is quality and not to many competitors, do yourself the smartest move ever and keep it, and don't stop updating it, if anything update it more than you are currently.

Right now your saying you make atleast $1k/month.. isn't that good for your age? (you could probably buy enough liquor, an ounce a month, some strips of acid and 3 hookers if you needed) Wouldn't you rather make $1k this month, 1.5k next month etc.. for next 5 years.. vs making only $10k total? Just a tip from experience, because i probably should have kept my site.
