I'm looking for video tutorial ideas. These tutes will be specifically for WF, and not my blog. So, any SEO (white hat) or PPC tutorials you want to see, post them here. I'll put them together and send the files to Jon or Brandon and they can host them for the world to see.

Also, if you have a tutorial of any kind that you want turned into a video, send me a copy and I'll do my best. Only tutes that you want to show up on WF. If you want me to do a video tute for your site, PM me and we can talk ($).

Good stuff. What about a tutorial on getting backlinks? It's a general concept but maybe the best ways to do so - what to look out for, things to avoid, some juicy places to get backlinks etc.

Go buy Adobe Captivate 2. For $599, you too can create your own video tutes with ease. Or, the hard way, get a screen capture program (many for free) and use Flash to convert it into something useful (large, very large files if you're streaming) or just let people DL the raw video and watch it on their machine.

I had this idea in my head a long ass time.... I used to watch a lot of tutorial videos, particularly because they were a better learning tool when it came to 3D modeling and animation than anything else (shit I learned more from them than I did at college)

The only problem is they were sometimes mundane.

So one time, there was this guy I knew who made one himself just to teach a few people some shit. It was hilarious though because was cursing throughout the entire thing, making mistakes and what not. I found it absolutely hilarious.

So I always wondered how a tutorial video series would sell if the narrator was a regular joe, cursing and shit... making mistakes we all make but still getting the point across. I think they would have their own little niche in the world of video tutorials.
