I'll keep this short:

I'm a native English college student. You can find anything else you need to know here: Lizzie Humphreys. Testimonials, samples, information - all on the website.

At you can see, my usual rates are $2.50 per 100 words.

I need to raise $50 urgently by Monday, so I'm going to reduce that to $1.50 per 100 words.

That will mean I need to do 7-8 articles of 500 words to reach my target.

Of course, feel free to order articles of any length.

It's nearly midnight right now in the UK but I'll be up bright and early tomorrow and getting started on any orders that I get.

Please go ahead and order!

Please feel free to make me an offer for how much you would like to pay - I will give discounts for bulk orders. I can also do rewrites for $1 per 100 words, I'm very flexible - I just need the work at the moment.

I can see that you're in need of the money, but when trying to sell your services to potential clients, it doesn't do well to promote yourself as desperate for work, y'know?

Thanks for the advice :) If you look at my website, you'll read that I do have over 30 clients but I just need work today or tomorrow (and that will pay today or tomorrow) which I'm not getting at the moment. Either customers have paid upfront for several articles or they pay at the end of each month.

I have tried this before (stating my goal and what I will do to get the money I need) and it worked, so hopefully it will work again...

I do know what you're saying though, it does have an element of not-very-professional to it.
