Hi All,

outside of going to all these shows around the planet.

How important to your Business is the art of networking??

Im under the impression its a Valuable tool to our Success,

Can these forums/networking really link us to individuals that we

can make deals with that benefit both parties?

Im in this game to come out on top, feel free to share.

Thanks

I really despise the term 'networking'

It seems to imply "Hi, what can you do for me?"

I've met a number of people on WickedFire that have a significant positive impact on my bottom line. This necessarily happen in threads or posts per se, but you can seek out others who think like you and talk privately. Chances are if you have something you can offer them, they can offer you something in return.

Just do your research before opening your mouth so you don't sound like a complete buffoon like 99% of the waste that tries to get into this industry, and you'll do just fine.

i agree with aim.

the term "networking" was ANNIHILATED, taken out of context, then MASSACRED back during the height of Amway. it's overused and has turned into ambiguous "biz talk."

networking really just involves building a list of contacts and working to keep yourself familiar and in-contact with everyone on that list to expand your opportunities, abilities, relationships, etc.

Hi all,

Aim you have said that very well what i wanted to come across as saying

"networking" to me is if i have something to offer and that person

we both gain.

I love networking, but I have a different view of it. My goal is to connect to people who may possibly become a friend, biz partner, colleague. In order to do that, I don't always hit people with my needs or try to hard sell them on the things they can do for ME. It's just at effective to offer yourself as a resource.

Everyone likes it when someone offers them an introduction or some type of help and you definitely stay top-of-mind (I hate that term-but couldn't resist using it).
