Ok, I read the rules first, but have a question. Who do I need to talk to to promote a new affiliate program? It mentioned a paid section to post them, but I didn't see it anywhere.

I may also be interested in a banner ad. We want to promote our program with affiliates, but don't want to hire an affiliate manager, so the affiliates will make more money.

Could one of the admins or mods in charge of this pm or email me about this. I also have yim if you wish to discuss this.

I really like this forum amd think we can work well together.

Didn't you make a similiar thread recently?

You were advised to go to the affiliate networks such as azoogle, CJ, neverblue, copeac, etc...

If you don't agree with them making some comission from you then you really have no choice if you don't want to do it professionally except to spam affiliate forums and keep your link in your sig.?

If you think you're going to make some cash, why not try out those networks that's where all your affiliates are at.

Try DP in their affiliate marketing forum there's always posts about merchants looking for new affiliates, but I think if you try it here you could get banned.

PM what you're offering and I'll take a look and sign up as an affiliate, start a campaign and give it a go.

Personally I don't think you're going to have luck advertising here, as far as I know, you're new here and don't have any history. WF didn't accept any advertisers at all for a long time since they're all about their website content. So, I don't think they're going to just give anybody a banner like that.

That's something they have mentioned in the past, that they want to keep the quality of advertising high and not let just anybody advertise on here. Unless they changed their rules or whatever I don't know, but I doubt it.

I understand that, and don't expect any special treatment from wf or members, I would just rather start with 10-20 affiliates to test the market before commiting myself to cj, copeac or any other management program. Also, finding members form forum is a better way to partner with affiliates, as it will hold us accountable for what we promise as an affiliate program. We are in a forum, and it won't take long for someone to cry foul if there is something shady going on and etc.

The main drawback I am seeing from going with an affiliate manager is that they want a contract, a large financial deposit and no guarantee they can get us promoted. We don't mind paying a deposit, but would you want to give a company a $5000-10000 deposit with no proof or promise your going to get traffic. I know the conversion falls on us, but we have to have traffic to get conversions.

I could just put it in my sig and visit forums, but I would rather find a way to ask forum members to try us and help us build a brand. So, the sig is ok with wf rules?

If they don't have a way to mention or promote programs, thats cool too. Are we allowed to promote them in our banners?
