NEW Facebook Ads

..and FB (from what my rep has told me) is looking into ways to block tools like this totally.

yeah good luck with that. anything that can be done over the internet and i mean anything can be automated. i am yet to see a site anywhere that cannot be cracked and most within minutes no matter how many hoops they make you jump through (eh google lol).

Hahah, I just got the funniest disapproval to date. Last night, I was pissed at one of my campaigns, and made a new campaign called : (something)Fuckers
Well the ads got reviewed several hours ago, with the following disapproval:
The text of this ad contains language that is unacceptable or inappropriate. Per sections 4 and 7 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines, ad text must relate directly to the content of the landing page.

The ad text is very clean, and nothing close to inappropriate, and I've gotten probably 5k+ similar ads approved prior. So I take it that they disapproved me based on the campaign name.

It used to be all about spend, now it's a combination of spend and the legitimacy of your campaigns. I was hardly coherent during their session at ASW but I believe they said the minimum was $30k/month. Then again, I could be wayyy the fuck off.

Just use the default landing page with no tracking when you submit the ad > pause > after review change the redirect back to the tracking url.

Why do you need to redirect them to another country? Such a dumb reason to get banned for cloaking.

Since you're changing 1 link back and forth...

So every time you make a new round of ads for that campaign, you have to pause every live ad you've made before so they don't go to the main site which you're sending the reviewers to?

Doesn't seem like the most efficient way of doing things...

I'm bidding $0.28 CPM and getting $0.18 actual CPM. WTF with all these pricing games? Why do I have to bid $0.10 more on fucking CPM for god's sakes to get traffic? If I bid $0.18 - I get no traffic.

You're complaining that they are charging you less than your bid?

Once again I had a bunch of perfectly kosher ads disapproved. Sent 2 kvetch notes asking why, and got them all approved in 15 minutes.

You guys should do this every time you're disapproved. Make them accountable, don't be a schlemiel!

Sent to who?

Are you incompetent? :ugone2far:

Yea, I am.

Here's another example:

CPM bidding. Suggested Bid: $0.32 - 0.38 USD. I'm bidding $0.51 and getting no traffic.

Explain to me wtf is going on, o, the competent one!

Meanwhile they had featured articles in their advertising newsletter in the past about using the FB Ads Manager in order to help test extensively. Not sure how they can block these kinds of tools really, other than constantly moving fields around and renaming labels like they've been doing.

That was my guess... All the tools currently rely on fields never changing and thats why they break as soon as facebook makes any changes. I have been using dynamic form fields that change on every page load for years now in contact forms etc to combat automation and spam.

And just a note you dont need a rep to get auto approved ads :)

What exactly do you mean, auto-approved ads? You're saying you can upload any image you want with any text you want and your ads are automatically approved?

C'mon...

Apparently I was not clear enough for those with lesser mental capacity. It has always been that ads similar to those that have already been approved will be automatically approved if your account is in good standings... I have created hundreds of ads at a time and had them approved in < 5 mins and then they go through later on to weed out anything they dont like.

It comes down to how legit your ads are... I dont know if this is still the case as I have had a rep for a while now but 6-7 months ago I was doing it daily.
