NEW Facebook Ads

Try including the name of the service in the adcopy, e.g. "Meet gay guys at gay singles" or "Meet gay guys at gaysingles.com".

Had it in there from the start. Although I just have the service name, not the ".com". I can't imagine by adding a .com i would get approved...but I also wouldnt be totally surprised. Jokerr, whats your take on "dripping" for lack of better verb, your ads. Maybe, 20 ads an hour or so...Seolinker (if I understand correctly) seems to be suggesting that.

That's odd... I've never submitted 100 ads manually, so I wouldn't know. But give it a shot, submit your 10-20 best/favorite images and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get a section 7 if it was due to cleavage-overload.

Otherwise, drop them an e-mail at: affiliates@facebook.com. Yeah, I know it sucks, but hey, it worked for me when I experienced a similar problem :)

Haha, I bet they'll be scrambling to get back to me right away...worth a try i suppose. I will submit a few and give her ago...really need to get this offer running before its too saturated.

Thanks!

ps. you mentioned you dont sub manually...could I ask what you are using? PM if you would prefer.

I'm sorry, that was poorly phrased of me. What I meant is that I've never split tested 100 creatives in one batch.

Good luck man, hope you get it sorted.

Very sorry, I should have included that..thanks Jokerr. Here it is:

Ad Disapproval Reason(s):
This ad does not meet the requirements for dating ads or services set forth by section 7 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines. The product ordating service being advertised must be targeted to the appropriate, relevant audience: 1. Users aged 18 or older; 2. Users with a Relationship Status of "Single"; 3. The ad must also be targeted to users of exactly one gender ("Sex"); 4. Users of one sexual preference ("Interested In"); 5. The ad text must also be a fair representation of the dating service. To that end, we do not allow ad text that is misleading to users (e.g., "Come chat with me" or "Meet me tonight")

My targeting and copy meets this criteria. The only thing I can possibly think of is maybe too much cleavage. Granted, these pics have been approved many times before soo...

I've been getting worse than that for a few days on Dating Ads (same headline, pic, ad copy) that already been approved several times. I didn't use a girl pic and i got CTR over 0.400%.

Here's how the decline message goes:
Advertisements for Subscription Services must comply with the conditions described in section 9 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines and as determined by Facebook in its sole discretion. "Subscription Services" may include sites that promote downloading ringtones, games, or other entertainment services or any site that induces a user to sign up for recurring billing of a product or service. Ads for subscription services must include any hidden or recurring billing information within the ad copy (e.g. "Subscription required"). Additionally, landing pages for subscription services must fully disclose price and billing interval on the main page, and on any subsequent page where the user is prompted to enter personal information (such as telephone number) or billing information (such as a mobile phone number or credit card number). The website must also provide a prominent opt-in checkbox, that must remain unchecked, indicating that the user knowingly accepts the price and subscription service.

Anyone getting the same message?

Have you been able to getting any ads with girls approved lately? more specifically, racey pics?

not sure if serious...

I was. I didn't do any fb in the last several months and I know something's changed, I'm located in Hong Kong, in spring when i was doing fb, new calendar day would usually start at 3pm here but now it's in the morning here, i get up at around 1pm usually and i'd rather ask here than getting up early!

disapproved again. Tried breaking up 100 ads and submitting 20 at a time throughout the day. Section 7. Emailed 'em...we shall see.

I created three separate dating campaigns yesterday, actually the ad copies & images were the same, i was just targeting different countries. They disapproved 1 ad out of 30 in the AU one, then for the UK one, 27 ads were disapproved out of 30 although the ads in both campaigns were identical.

So here it is...fb got back to me in 24hours...impressive:

As noted in the Facebook Advertising Guidelines, "any targeting of ads based on a user attribute, such as age, gender, location, or interest, must be directly relevant to the offer". We've received significant negative feedback about ads that call out users' personal attributes in the ad copy, and we take this feedback very seriously. Ads that unnecessarily call out user attributes in the ad creative are in violation of our guidelines and run contrary to Facebook's overall advertising philosophy. Please delete any ads using irrelevant call-outs in order to remain in compliance with Facebook advertising policy.

We encourage you to continue using relevant targeting to reach the best audience for your ads. However, we won't be accepting ads that are in violation of the policies described above. Additionally, advertisers running ads that generate significant negative feedback may have these ads disabled or face more serious account penalties without additional warning.

My title was "Are you single?" which obviously calls out an "attribute". Been approved many times before...but now I know...600 dissaproved ads later haha...

Hope this helps others : )

I knew FB had a delay with their stats...But what's the delay time exactly?! 10-15minutes? more or less...Or is it only my FB that still does that. In testing phase, it's pretty bad!

BlueSteele, good timing...

Just sent an email to: affiliates@facebook.com, and this popped up in my inbox within seconds.
